DIMELO305 TAKES THE WIN AT RACE FOR OUR FUTURE
Dimelo305 brought the energy to the Race for Our Future Earth 5K and 10K, earning multiple age group podium finishes along with the event’s Team Spirit Award.
This year’s Race for Our Future Earth Day 5K and 10K became more than just a race for the Dimelo305 team — it turned into a celebration of movement, community, and the power of showing up together.
From the moment the event began, the energy around Team Dimelo305 was impossible to miss. Runners, walkers, supporters, and families all came together to represent a growing movement focused on health, connection, and community involvement. What started as a race day quickly became one of those moments that reminded everyone why Dimelo305 continues to push these initiatives forward.
And the results spoke for themselves.
Several members of the Dimelo305 team reached the podium in their respective divisions:
* Ulises Coronel — 2nd Place Age Group
* Steven Lopez — 3rd Place Age Group
* Wilberth Garcia — 2nd Place Age Group
* Luis Morales — 1st Place Age Group
* Lily Peraza — 2nd Place Age Group
To top it all off, Dimelo305 was also recognized with the Team Spirit Award, highlighting not only the team’s performance but the energy, motivation, and encouragement they brought throughout the entire event.
But beyond medals and placements, what made the day truly special was the community impact surrounding it.
Leading up to race day, Dimelo305 organized raffles, giveaways, and shared discount codes and free race entries to help more people participate. The goal wasn’t simply to compete — it was to create access and motivate others to take part, whether they were experienced runners or stepping into their very first race.
The atmosphere throughout the event reflected exactly that. Teammates cheering each other on, first-time participants crossing finish lines with pride, and supporters celebrating every accomplishment, no matter the pace.
Another memorable moment from the event was running into one of the founders of Community Newspapers, Grant Miller, whose presence added another layer of local community connection to the day. Moments like that continue to show how events centered around health and movement can also bring together leaders, media, and organizations that care deeply about South Florida.
For Dimelo305, this wasn’t only about winning races. It was about building experiences that inspire people to get active, connect with others, and feel part of something bigger than themselves.
And if this race was any indication, the movement is only getting stronger.
