CUBA VS NICA: DAY 1 WITH LINA LUACES

Dimelo305 kicks off the most wanted-food series with Day 1 at Versailles, where Cuban flavors came in strong alongside special guest Lina Luaces. Real reactions, real opinions, and a whole lot of culture on the table. But this is just the beginning—Day 2 is Nicaragua’s turn ????.

Dimelo305 is bringing a new flavor to the city—and this time, it’s all about culture, identity, and one big question: who really has the better food?

Continuing our most requested segment: Cuba vs. Nica Food, a series where we sit down with special guests, explore iconic spots, and put some of the most loved dishes head-to-head.

We kicked things off with Day 1 at Versailles Restaurant, a place that needs no introduction in Miami. Known as a cultural landmark for Cuban cuisine, Versailles set the tone with bold flavors, tradition, and dishes that carry generations of history.

Joining us for this first episode was Lina Luaces, who brought her personality, curiosity, and honest reactions to the table. From the first bite to the last comment, the energy was real, the opinions were strong, and the conversation went beyond just food—it became about culture, roots, and what each plate represents.

But this is only Day 1.
Because now… Day 2 belongs to Nicaragua.

The table is set, the expectations are high, and Nicaragua is stepping in to make its case. If Cuba came in strong, you already know Nica isn’t backing down.

And this is just the beginning.

This new segment is designed to grow, and we’re already lining up new guests and local personalities to join us in future tastings. From influencers to community figures, we’ll be inviting voices from across Miami to sit at the table and share their take.

We’re also opening the door for new celebrities and creators to be nominated for upcoming tastings—because this series is about bringing different perspectives, personalities, and cultures together.

And it doesn’t stop at Cuba vs. Nicaragua.

We’re expanding this concept into a full food tasting series, where different cultures, cuisines, and communities will be featured in upcoming episodes. Think more countries, more flavors, and even more debates.

Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just about picking a winner.

It’s about celebrating the diversity that makes Miami what it is—one plate at a time.

So now we ask you:

Team Cuba or Team Nica?
