SOBE ROLLERS TAKE OVER RUN CLUB: SPECIAL EDITION

special edition of our Run, Walk & Skate Club brought a new level of energy as SoBe Rollers stepped in with a true skating academy experience. From kids building confidence to adults pushing their limits, the night was all about growth, discipline, and community in motion.

The latest edition of the Run, Walk & Skate Club wasn’t just another meetup—it was an experience that brought a new level of energy, structure, and purpose to the community. This special session, featuring the SoBe Rollers, showcased what happens when passion meets discipline and when a true skating academy steps into a community space.

With the presence of The Skating Academy and Andrea’s Rollerblading Academy, the night included a special presentation that gave attendees a closer look at the world of structured skating. Beyond that, they took the time to work directly with our beginner skaters—especially those who had always wanted to try rollerblading but needed that extra push of confidence to get started.

From the moment the session began, it was clear this one felt different. Skaters, runners, and walkers of all ages showed up ready—not just to participate, but to improve, connect, and push themselves.

One of the most powerful moments of the night was seeing beginners step into something new. With guidance, encouragement, and hands-on support, many took their first real steps on skates. Watching that confidence build in real time—especially among the kids—was a reminder of what these spaces are truly about.

Because this is bigger than skating. It’s about growth, discipline, and community.

You could feel the intention behind every lap, every tip, and every moment shared between experienced skaters and first-timers.

This wasn’t just a session—it was a glimpse into what it takes to become a confident skater, runner, or walker, no matter where you start.

Of course, no Dimelo305 experience is complete without taking care of the community in every way possible. Huge thanks to Hoist for keeping everyone hydrated throughout the session, Yolanda for providing supplements that helped participants stay fueled, and Gelateria Italiana for ending the night on a sweet note with well-earned gelato.

Moments like these are what define the 305. They bring people together, create opportunities for growth, and remind us of the power of community-driven initiatives.

And if this session is any indication of what’s to come, this is just the beginning. We’re here every Thursday 7pm 1500 NW 107 Ave.

Stay tuned—Dimelo305 is just getting started.
