This past run with our crew was one we won’t forget—not just because of the miles we covered or the laughs we shared, but because we had a surprise appearance that stole the show: Antonio de la Cruz—our tiniest guest and honorary mascot for the day!
That’s right — midway through our route, as we were hitting our stride and cheering each other on, a little “mouse”-sized visitor joined the group and scurried alongside like he was training for his own 5K. Whether it was curiosity or a must-keep-up-with-the-pack attitude, Antonio’s unexpected cameo brought extra energy and laughs that had everyone talking long after the run was over.
It’s moments like these — the good runs, the fresh faces, the shared jokes, and even surprise guests — that make our Run Club so much more than just a workout. We’re building connections, encouraging each other, and turning a weekly routine into something memorable.
