HOLIDAY SPIRIT & COMMUNITY: CHRISTMAS RACE 2025
Dimelo305 brought together Miami-Dade College students, Run Club members, local police departments, donors, and volunteers during our Toy Drive sorting days, uniting diverse communities around one shared mission. Together, we organized and prepared toys for distribution to four schools across Miami-Dade and Broward County, proving that meaningful impact is created when people come together for a single cause.
CHRISTMAS RACE 2025: CELEBRATING COMMUNITY, MOVEMENT, AND HOLIDAY SPIRIT IN DORAL
This past weekend, Dimelo305 had the pleasure of attending the Christmas Race 2025, one of Doral’s most anticipated holiday traditions. More than just a 5K, the event brought together families, runners, local organizations, and community leaders to celebrate the season through movement, unity, and positive energy.
From the early morning start at Meadow Park, the atmosphere was filled with excitement. Participants of all ages showed up wearing festive gear, holiday colors, and big smiles, turning the streets into a true celebration of Christmas spirit. Music, encouragement from spectators, and a shared sense of purpose made the experience feel less like a race and more like a community gathering.
Events like the Christmas Race highlight the importance of creating spaces where people can come together, stay active, and enjoy meaningful moments beyond the daily routine. It was inspiring to see how a simple run can strengthen community bonds while promoting wellness and joy during the most special time of the year.
