FIU ALUMNI BLOCK PARTY VIBES
FIU pride took center stage at this year’s Alumni Block Party, where Panthers from all generations came together to celebrate, reconnect, and enjoy Miami vibes. With appearances from local celebs like Mr. Eats305 and DJ MDOT (yes, we’ve interviewed him before!), the night was filled with music, laughter, and Panther spirit. For us, it was extra special — with one of our own being a proud FIU alum, it truly felt like coming home.
The FIU Alumni Block Party is more than just an annual gathering — it’s a tradition that brings together Panthers from every era to celebrate our shared pride and love for the university. This year was no exception, and we had a blast reconnecting with fellow alumni, networking, and enjoying the energy that only Miami knows how to bring.
From the food and music to the endless laughter, the event was a true reminder of how special it is to be part of the FIU family. It was also a star-studded celebration, with appearances from local Miami favorites like Mr. Eats305 and DJ MDOT (who we’ve actually had the honor of interviewing before!).
For us, it was more than just showing up — it was about coming back to our roots. With one of our very own being a proud FIU alum, it felt like a full-circle moment to celebrate Panther pride alongside so many familiar faces. Events like these remind us of the power of community, legacy, and the spirit of FIU that continues to shine bright across Miami and beyond.
