ISLAND SPACE HIGHLIGHTS YOU NEED TO SEE
Dimelo305 stopped by Island SPACE to celebrate Caribbean culture and ran into Council Members Jennifer Andreu and Louis Reinstein showing love for the community.
At Dimelo305, we’re always on the lookout for the stories, spaces, and leaders that keep our communities connected to their roots. That’s why we were honored to step inside the Island SPACE Caribbean Museum—a vibrant cultural gem in South Florida that celebrates the legacy, resilience, and brilliance of the Caribbean diaspora.
Located in the heart of Broward Mall, Island SPACE isn’t just a museum—it’s a movement. From rare historical artifacts to immersive exhibits that showcase the diverse contributions of Caribbean nations, this space tells stories that too often go unheard. It’s a place where heritage is preserved, identity is honored, and pride is palpable in every room.
During our visit, we had the pleasure of crossing paths with Council Members Jennifer Andreu and Louis Reinstein, two community leaders who continue to champion cultural initiatives across the region. Their presence was a powerful reminder of what it looks like when leadership shows up—not just for policy, but for people, history, and culture.
Spaces like Island SPACE matter. They serve as bridges between generations, platforms for education, and sanctuaries for celebration. And we’re proud to highlight them.
Because at Dimelo305, we believe in amplifying the voices, legacies, and places that shape who we are. The Caribbean’s impact on South Florida is undeniable—and thanks to institutions like Island SPACE, its stories will continue to inspire for generations to come.
